  • What services do you offer?
    I specialize in curly hair, helping those with naturally curly hair realize how wonderful and amazing those natural curls can be. I also offer premium haircare services that you would expect to find in any upscale salon that focuses on the clients needs, from waxing, to a complete transformation.   • Which curly service should I book?
    Great question! When booking a curly cut service, it is important to book the correct service to allow enough time for us to complete the service. New curly guests must book a "1st Time Curl Transformation Service". This service is the most comprehensive, including consultation, a curly cut, cleansing, conditioning and styling. Returning curly guests have a few options: Returning curly guest with a cut and cleansing - this is for those that may be looking to change style or even looking for a little extra pampering. Returning curly guest Express Curly Cut - this is a maintenance cut only without the cleanse. DO NOT book the Express Curly Cut, if you are looking for a style change. Curly Wash and Go - this is for you if you're wanting your hair looking it's best for an evening on the town, an interview, or for discovering spring factor in your hair. There is NO curl cut with this service.
  • Do you cut straight hair?
    Yes! While curly hair is my specialty, I am highly trained and educated in many styles and types of hair. Cutting 'straight hair' is how I got started.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    I accept cash, personal checks, all major credit cards and Simply Amber Salon Services gift cards.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
    Yes, I sell gift certificates. They can be purchased by dollar amount or for specific hair services.
  • What if I like to straighten my curly hair on occasion?
    Well, first and foremost, put down the flat iron (or whatever else you're using to straighten your hair). It only takes one mistake to substantially damage your curls. But, to be honest, I know it occasionally happens. I will do everything to encourage you to stop (like what you're reading now); I want you to love your naturally curly hair without feeling the need to manipulate it.
  • What if I need to book an appointment and it's on your scheduled day off?
    I understand that in our ever-changing surroundings, not all schedules will align. I also know that my schedule has been booked out, sometimes up to three weeks at a time. If you are needing to book an appointment on one my regularly scheduled days off, and if I can accomodate the request, I charge a premium of 30%.
